Barbell Hack Squats

I recently read an article on Strongfirst.com, Antifragile and Strong Knees: The Russian Lion's Kettlebell Hack Squat Tutorial and it had some pretty good points. For one it's had me doing 2-3x week FM type leg work (I do regular, close, and bodyweight hack squats for a total of 33 reps 2-3x week as a layered bit of lower body calisthenic work).

As I re-read the 3rd Edition of GSLP I recall that there's the exercise rotation concept and it seems like the barbell hack squat would be another neat exercise to rotate in. Has anyone had any experience programming this particular exercise in their training at all?
