So here's a video showing my current progress since 6/4/12. I'm happy with it. Going to be focusing on sinking my squats even if it means less weight and/or reps. Need to get my press form fixed. Am happy with my deads and my bench is coming along, just need to get my recent fixes to be second nature. Will post another video prior to the strongman comp, and then another prior to my meet.

Press/Squat

Press:

Lat Pulldowns:
180x9,9

V-Bar Rows:
2 Plates x10,11

Squat:
375x5,5,7

Press was strict today and form was better but the weight is getting tough. On back work I'm trying to fully extend my arms and squeeze the contraction instead of just muscling the weight around. On squats I brought my grip out and stance in and am trying to go lower. I want to be breaking parallel without question on every rep so I'm going to film each set on Friday to make sure I'm good.

You gotta know what you're capable of each day you set foot in the gym. Today was a day that I knew I wasn't at a 100%. A lot of stressful stuff went down today, and also I may have to back out of the strongman comp and possibly my powerlifting meet. So I assessed were I was and picked rep goals based off that. Hit them, though lower than ideal.

Press form was better today on most reps. The weight is starting to get tough for me- mostly when pausing between reps- maybe no pause/touch and go will eliminate that problem. Filmed my squats and they felt deep enough when I did them but they were not. Having a hard time telling when I'm deep enough- guess I just gotta keep trying to go lower. Probably won't post the vid since tey weren't much better than last week's.
