Yesterday was a bit of a crapfest. I was supposed to get 370x3 on deadlift, but couldn't get it off the floor. I just did some neck harness and called it a day. First off-day I've had in a while though.

Definitely made up for it today.

Military press:

Hitting a BW military press is pretty solid. Did 70 total chins, some hammer curls, and neck harness afterwards.

I'm going to reset my deadlift. Not because the weights are too heavy; due to making a habit of bouncing my reps, I've become a bit weak off the floor, though my lockout is pretty solid. haha. Gonna drop the weight a bit and work on pulling every rep from the floor.

I think I'm going to cut back the conditioning to one day a week, since starting tomorrow I'll be having 4 days a week of throwing practice.

First day of practice. Today was basically to assess how in shape/out of shape everyone was. Basically just some abs, pushups, burpees, and some plyometrics. Left me a little out of breath as there were really no rests, but it wasn't too bad.

This felt really good for some reason. I just realized 285 was actually in 5rm territory about a year ago, and it felt super easy today even with no chalk.
