Saturday afternoon. (Late report.) Rowed 500m in 1:57 to get warm.

Bench: 45x10, 95x5, 135x3, 167.5x6

Squat: 45x5, 95x3, 135x3, 185x2, 235x5x3

Far from any rep PRs today. May have something to do with the 4-episode Game of Thrones marathon that kept me up til 3am the night before.

Sunday morning. 500m row, descending splits, 1:53.2

Sunday afternoon. 1000m row in 8:44 followed by swim sprints. 4x50m. 0:54, 0:53, 0:51, 0:49. A minute's rest in-between each.

Monday evening. Just a little mobility today. Rowed 500m in 1:49.9 with descending splits to get warm.

Wednesday night. No mobility work. 500m row 1:52.9@24spm.

Bench: 45x10, 95x5, 135x3, 170x5x2, x7

Deadlift: 135x3, 225x2, 315x5

V-handle pulldowns: 12x8, 11x10

Finisher: 200m sprint on rower in 39.5 seconds

Feeling low. Work really sucks for me these days. Draining all my energy and pulling me down.

Saturday night. Got into the gym really late, after 10 PM. Went to a baseball game in the afternoon and had fun but I had a disappointing night session at the gym.

Press: 45x8, 65x5, 85x3, 105x5x2, x8

Squat: 45x5, 105x4, 155x3, 195x2, 240x2x2

Just not feeling it. The combination of stress at work and the minor stomach virus this week has really taken the wind out of my sails.

Felt better at the gym today. I have to just say no to nighttime training. Got to get it done before 8pm at the latest.

Also began my return to FM pushups this weekend. Starting with just 50 per day: 2 ladders of 1-5, and 1 set of 20.

Nothing much to report except that I'm glad to be back on the FM push-ups. I like JP's 1 to 5 ladder approach.

Incline bench: 45x10, 95x5, 130x5x2, x10 - rep PR

Deadlift: 135x3, 225x2, 320x5

Front squat: 45x5, 95x3, 150x5x2, x10 - rep PR

V-handle pulldowns: 12.5x6, 11.5x8

GHR (hands across chest): BWx5x3 - moving these back into the rotation to work the hams more as I focus on front squatting for a few weeks.
