I going to be starting my Greyskull journey tonight. I have done 531 and madcows. After a while off from the gym ive kinda let myself go. I want to log my workouts to give myself some motivation. My lifts have dropped substantially, but they will go back up. Ive also gained 31 pounds this winter, maybe 2 of the pounds are muscle.... 6'0 210lbs

Current Lifts

5 Rep Max

Squat: 250lbs
Deadlift: 315 lbs
Press: 115lbs
Bench: 235 lbs

On my off days I will be doing either street sprints, or WODs.

Left work an hour early to get this work out in, was pretty amped to get into it.

10 minute incline walk
Bench: 200 lbs x 5 x 5 x 10
Squat: 210 lbs x 5 x 5 x 8
Weighted Dips: BW +45 lbs x 7 x 6 (these are harder now that I gained 31 lbs)

just did some light weight pulldown work at the end (3 x 20 reps)

Took the dog for an hour walk today, we stopped at the play ground and I did some body weight work.

Can't wait for Monday!

Well I am back, I broke up with my Girlfriend and had myself I really wild summer. Drank my faceoff and skipped the gym....I don't regret it because I haven't been single in such a long time.... But its time to start lifting again and I started up this wednesday. Boy am I out of shape. I am doin the arm plugin, but forget curls, there for girls, I added heavy dips instead.

When I post the weight I am just gonna post the AMRAP set.

Workout B

OHP: 95lbs x 12

DIPS: BW(200) +20lbs x 8

DEADLIFT: 245 x 8

1 mile run: 8:54

Yeah I am out of shape, but Ill get better! I started light because I want to nail my form.

Ill be going for a 45 minute incline walk on lunch, then hitting work out A at 5pm tonight, hopefully I can beat my 1 mile run.

I got to stop losing interest in working out, Job has been tough for me but I think tonight I am going to make the comeback!

Well I made it back Last night! Decided to run the LP (Phrak's Variant) and add in some of my own plugins.

BW 195 lbs
HT: 6,0

I will only post the AMRAP sets.

Bench Press: 17 x 165lbs
Bent over Row: 12 x 135lbs
BB Curls: 2 x 10-12 x 85lbs
Facepulls: 2 x 10-12 x 100lbs
DB Shrugs: 2 x 10-12 x 90lbs
2 sets of MAX Chins: 21 total in 2 sets
2 sets of MAX pushups: 50 total in 2 sets
Squat: 5 x 185lbs

Cardio: I had a hockey game at night which is an 1 1/2 of Intense Cardio.


Overall felt good getting back in the gym, obviously I started light, but my squat just felt awful after taking so much time away from it, I think it will take a while to get back. as for the bench I will increase it by 10 lbs this time and same with the Rows. I ordered 1.25 plates from rouge so they should be in soon.



More conditioning and BW exercise tonighT

Did 30 minutes of Incline walking last night.

chins 3 x 7
pushups 3 x 12


also did some light rotator cuff work. will be hitting up some press and DL tonight.
