allright, here goes!

Felt like ass and had no time today so I just stuck to the main lifts

Press: 170 - 5,5,9 (kind of pumped about this after getting 7 at 167.5 last Wed)
Squat: 310 - 5,5,6 (Pissed about this after getting 10 at 305 on Friday)

Log day 2:

Bench: 270 - 5, 5, 11 (kind of a WTF PR right there--I'm starting to get worried it's going to catch my squat...)

Deadlift: 345 - 8 (a little pissed I didn't get 9 or 10, but I blaming it on not having a belt today. Hit 9 @ 340 last week. DL is easily my weakest lift out of the 4 so this is one I need to work on).

Closer: half mile waiters walk--used a 25 lb bumper plate for the first few laps then switched to a 25 lb soccer mom bar. Total time ~ 9 minutes. (Still need to figure this one out. First time I tried it I started out at 95 and smoked my shoulders in the first half. Using the plate instead of the bar wasn't a great idea either as I couldn't really rotate my shoulders and once again, burnt them out early. Next time I'm finding a light bar and I bet I get through it in 6 minutes).

Log Day 4 (Sunday 12/14/14):

7 Minute AMRAP:
6 Power Snatch @ 95
8 20 Lb DB thrusters

6 rounds even. Next time will do the rounds as 7 snatches, 10 thrusters.

Day 5:

Bench: 275 - 5, 5, 10
Squat: 320 - 5, 5, 6

Although my Sunday night sleep is usually pretty shitty, if I keep squatting badly on Mondays I may need to move it to Saturday or dumb it down substantially.

Day 6:

Press: 177.5 - 5, 5, 8
Pullups: hit a few sets of 5. felt good. ready to start dabbling with the FM again.
DL: 350 - 10 (FINALLY HIT A SET OF 10 ON DL! I think it just took me a while to learn how to lift with intensity while maintaining halfway decent form on this)
Finisher: No time. Will squeeze in a conditioning session tomorrow morning.

Day 7:

Open WOD 12.1 - 7 minute Burpee AMRAP: 91

As much as this one sucks, it's kind of cool--it's almost a question of how long you can keep your initial burst going for, how long it takes to recover from your initial burst and then pushing yourself back to a solid pace for your last two or three minutes.

Thanks! Yeah, that workout sucks but there's absolutely nowhere to hide. On top of that, I like it because it's a balls to the wall workout that pushed me to my limits today, but shouldn't come back to haunt me when I squat tomorrow.

Day 8:
Bench: 280 - 5, 5, 9 (FINALLY broke my bench! Maybe I don't have to worry about it catching my squat)
Squat: 325 - 5, 5, 7 (not 9 @ 315, but beats 6 @ 320)

Inspiration text I received prior to my last squat set (TBD on how much it helped haha--great first 5!):
